Privacy Policy

1. What this covers
This policy explains what Sweat Hard collects when you use sweathard.fit, why we collect it, and who else sees it. Sweat Hard is operated by Veronika Littlefield.
2. What we collect
Your account. Your email address, which is how you sign in and how we reach you about your account.
Your profile. The details you enter during setup and can change later: name, age, sex, height, weight and preferred units, fitness goals, where you work out, and your weekly goal settings. Several of these are health-related, and they exist because they drive your calorie estimates and heart-rate zones.
Your training. The workouts you save or build, the exercises in them, and every session you log — sets, reps, weights, duration, effort rating, heart rate and calories where you enter them, scheduled workouts, and body-weight entries over time.
Requests you send us. When you ask for an exercise or workout through Settings, we store what you wrote along with your email so we can reply.
Payment information. If you subscribe, Stripe collects and processes your card details directly. We never see or store your card number. We keep a Stripe customer reference, your subscription status, and its renewal date.
Technical information. Our hosting and database providers process standard technical data such as IP address and browser type in the course of serving the site and keeping it secure.
How you found us and how far you get. We record which link brought you here (for example, that you came from a particular Facebook group) and which steps of signing up you complete — like requesting a login link, or the link failing to sign you in — so we can find and fix the places where people get stuck. This lives in our own database and nowhere else. We do not use ad networks, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
3. Why we collect it
To run the service: signing you in, saving your workouts, calculating your statistics, and producing your report. To take payment and manage your subscription. To answer you when you contact us. To keep the service secure and working, and to understand which parts of it are used so we can improve them.
4. Who else handles your data
We use a small number of providers to run Sweat Hard. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — stores your account, profile, workouts and history, and handles sign-in
- Stripe — processes subscription payments and holds your card details
- Resend — delivers our email, including your sign-in links
- Vercel — hosts and serves the site
Workout videos are embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced player, which doesn't set tracking cookies unless you press play. Once you play a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies to keep you signed in. Without them, sign-in can't work.
We also store data in your browser to make the app fast — a cached copy of the exercise library and workout templates, your theme choice, and a draft of any workout you're part-way through so a closed tab doesn't lose it. This includes a random identifier that lets us count your signup steps as one visit rather than several; it isn't shared with anyone and identifies your browser, not you. That data stays on your device and clearing your browser data removes it.
6. Your data is exportable
Your fitness report can be downloaded at any time, including after you cancel a subscription. It contains your training history in a form you can keep, print, or take elsewhere.
7. Deleting your account
Email hello@sweathard.fitfrom the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll remove your profile, workouts, and training history, and confirm when it's done. Give us up to 30 days.
Some records have to outlive the account — payment and tax records that Stripe and the law require us to keep, for example. Those stay only as long as required.
8. How long we keep things
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, because your training history is the point of the product — trends only mean something over time. Content requests are kept while we work through them and drop off our queue 30 days after they're resolved.
9. Security
Your data is held in a managed database with row-level access rules, so one account's data isn't reachable by another. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
No service can promise perfect security. If a breach ever affects your data, we'll tell you.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can change most of your details yourself in Settings, download your report at any time, and email us for anything else. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.
11. Children
Sweat Hard is for adults and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top, and we'll email you if the change is significant.
